Allied Signs can build you a HDU Monument sign. These signs allow for unique shaped architectural monument looks with flourishes, columns, caps, crescents, rounded caps, decorative post, and arched tops. We fabricate all of our Monument signs in shop using woodworking and cabinetry skills. 

    They typically have a 2x6 or 2x8 cca lumber carcass. They are fabricated from 1/2" to 1-1/2" thick HDU (High Density Urethane) Precision Board panels by Coastal Enterprises installed onto the lumber carcass to form the monument shape desired. Everything is sealed for durability and strength with a acrylic textured finish and top coated with Acrylic paints. The lettering can be cutout lettering installed onto the face or lettering sandblasted into the face, all giving dimension to the sign. We also find it popular to have brass looking aluminum (alumabrass) insets into the main wording lettering. This gives the sign a real distinctness. The possibilities are endless. The durability of these signs to the weather are very good against fade, moisture and insects because all materials are synthetic.  - see a sign under construction!

• Alumabrass Facing - .040" Aluminum (brass look) cutout inset applied to letters   

• Sandblasted In Lettering - letters cut into facing, with textured inside               

• Routed In Lettering - letters cut into facing, with smooth inside                       

• Changable Panels - best for text on sign that may need changed, ie phone numbers   

• Tennant Panels - .063 aluminum panels with vinyl lettering, making name changes a snap
